About us
Thornton Educare is a Professional care provider partnering, trusting, caring and educating in an environment that becomes by design a second home. This is where children learn through playing which is the work of childhood. At Thornton Educare we strive to offer the highest quality of attention to detail when it comes to your loved ones to ensure a happy and stress free learning environment
We strive to develop our children holistically. Our children gain this all-inclusive progress from our qualified and experienced teachers, who have a passion for nurturing and shaping young minds.
The daycare centre is managed by the owner and principal Avril Harrison, who is a qualified teacher. She and all her staff are also trained and skilled with the most recent First Aid and Firefighting Certificates.
The daycare holds a team wealthy with knowledge and qualified experience in child care. Also part of the team is Anlike Mare of Little Lambs Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapist Mariaan Lubbe who are not only kind and patient, but passionate about nurturing a love of learning in each and every child.
We urge all parents to help support us in this journey of caring for your precious children so that together we can make this an amazing learning and growing experience for your children.
We offer a variety of activities to fully stimulate your child’s mental and physical qualities, while paying special attention to all your children’s individual needs. Our GROW Curriculum has been registered with the Department of Social Services as an approved Early Childhood Development Programme
